We took off 10pm sharp from the dock and loaded up bait. The plan was to head to San Nicholas Island as the weather was laying down nicely. On our United Composites Sponsored Trip, we raffle off a brand new rod before each trip and the winner for this trip was Noli Yan Jr. , winning a Elite Composite RCE800+ Monster. Each passenger also received a United Composites T-Shirt to top it all.
We arrive at San Nicholas at 7am. Long story short, the trip produced full limits of rockfish, from vermillion rockfish (reds) to copper rockfish (chuckleheads). There where nice grade sheepheads mixed in with some quality lingcod.
